Performance at The University of Chicago reflects the innovation, audacity, and engagement of the student body, with undergraduate ownership driving the momentum. The Theater and Performance Studies Program (TAPS) collaborates with University Theater, including Off Off Campus and Dean’s Men. Currently University Theater productions involve approximately 500 students, including actors, designers, directors, and production staffs with a yearly audience approaching 6,500.
The newly constituted Dance Council, joins TAPS as a co-curricular program, producing more than seven dance productions per year, involving over 300 students.
